TO: FOUNDERS AND ORGANIZERS OF THE GOLDEN HEART INTERNATIONAL AWARD

On behalf of the Muslim Council of Russia, the President of the Muslim Spiritual Council for the European Part of Russia and myself, I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all the organizers and participants of Golden Heart International Award.

Today, we are fully aware that terror and regional conflicts, violence propaganda and drug business have no national or religious belonging. No religion of the world, including Islam, has ever advocated terror, alcohol abuse, drug addiction or other human vices as the basis of its beliefs. These are all signs of human depravity, addictions and criminality. In the Muslim Holy Book, the Koran, which is full of wisdom on living heathily, physical and mental purity, a categorical prohibition of human murder is apparent: "… whoever slays a soul unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men" (The Koran 5:32).

Only through the joint, large-scale efforts of government institutions as well as public and religious organizations, is it possible to stand against negative behaviors in Russia and do everything possible to protect people, and especially the younger generation, who are more vulnerable to their influence.

Let God's mercy and His Blessing be with all the organizers of Golden Heart International Award, as it is truly said in the Holy Koran: "Those who spend their property by night and by day, secretly and openly, they shall have their reward from their Lord and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve." (The Koran, 2:275) and this fully refers to all of you. Please accept my best wishes of health and success and may peace and mercy fall upon you.
