Dear Founders and Members of the Organizing Committee of the “Golden Heart Award”!

One of the greatest joys of life is the unselfish generosity that one person can show another! There are a lot of people making others happy everyday by their often imperceptible and unpretentious actions for other people’s life and health!

UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is focused on child protection and has been working on it for 60 years throughout the world – in 157 countries, including Russia. We know perfectly well that a suffering child is extremely in need of these open and kindhearted people – “golden-hearted” people. Millions of children worldwide - homeless children, children suffering from HIV/AIDS, children with disabilities, children who have become victims of terror - survive primarily thanks to them.

We, in UNICEF, give a very high appreciation to this Golden Heart Award because it puts these “golden hearted” people into the public eye and shares their precious examples with the world. We wish all the best to the organizers of this wonderful award and lengthy and joyful life to the nominees.
